Introducing XyCAM RI™

 

XyCAM RI is our clinical-grade Retinal Blood Flow Imager that has received market authorization from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) through the 510(k) process. It can be used in ophthalmology and optometry settings to obtain quantitative estimates of relative retinal blood flow information from the human retina.

 

XyCAM RI uses proprietary laser speckle contrast imaging technology to deliver a new standard in fundus imaging, and features:

• Dynamic blood flow visualization with video data output,

• Powerful analysis of blood flow dynamics for greater clinical insights,

• Non-mydriatic imaging,

• Soft IR illumination for patient comfort,

• Minimal training required as workflow is similar to fundus photography.

Data obtained by XyCAM RI is complementary to structural data obtained using fundus photography and OCT, and also to vascular perfusion status obtained by fluorescein/ICG/OCT-angiography.
