
COLUMBIA, MD – Three Howard County startups were among the top 71 applicants out of 250 to advance to the second level in the state’s InvestMaryland Challenge, a $300,000 business competition, designed to fuel entrepreneurship by connecting seed and early-stage businesses with mentors, venture capitalists, potential investors and business resources.
The Howard County startups include AirPatrol Corporation, Vasoptic Medical and Cut2it, all of Columbia; Vasoptic Medical and Cut2it are residents of the Howard County Economic Development Authority’s Maryland Center of Entrepreneurship.
